Everyone say that Dirt Colin McRae give people a taste of floating rather than drifting .

The main problem is the default settings of the materials of the groud.

 

I played this game for one whole week, this game is a really great game!

Like it or not, some people said that is very relistic, while others said that is floating and no fun at all.

 

After one whole week of floating, I finished 35% of the career mode, but I reached my "bottleneck"....

In the 3rd level and 4th level race, you really needed to drive fast, if not, you cannot win the game at all

However, the groud is so sliding that my car jump into the woods in every corner.

 

I have enough! I must modify this non sense settings!

What I did?

I open the file "materials.xml", look for anything that sounds like ground materials, and then change their "grid" to a value that same as the "CONCRETE"

Now I can enjoy the game again ! YEah!

To another extreme, you may try to lower the grip value to have the feeling of driving on ice~  haha ~ I tried that, I think that is quite funny.
