When we talk about EF-S 17-55, I think this lens is well know enough that I don't need to say much.

 

I am here to address a commonly reported problem with EF-S 17-55

 

Dust Problem!

 

Most EF-S 17-55 owners reported that their beloved lens is full with dust INSIDE after a while.

 

One day, it came to a point that I cannot stand the dusty lens anymore.....  I have had enough!

 

So, I fix it by disamble the EF-S 17-55, then blow away the dust.......

 

In fact, EF-S 17-55 is really easy to disamble.

Just use a sharp object like a cutter to remove the top "sticker"

 

Yep! My friend, the top label that written "EF-S 17-55 .... " is just a thin, no protective function at all..... "sticker"

 

Once you remove it, you can see 3 nugs.... remove them.... then the 1st set of lens can be remove by puting the lens upside down....

 

That is all you need to know.

 

Enjoy dust free EF-S 17-55....  for a while.....  haha ~~~

早排因為跌破了 UV 鏡而令支鏡入哂玻璃粉.....

上黎問過 d 師兄吹鏡要幾錢.... 答案竟然係 $300 - $1200....
嘩....

個價錢有點兒過份哪掛.... 把心一橫, 自己搞算哪.....

估唔到, 原來好易, 只要用刀仔挑走第一片鏡的 "貼紙" .... 係... 真係一張 "貼紙" 而已 ~
就會見到 3 粒小豆丁.... 扭開那 3 粒小豆丁之後, 第一片鏡片就可以 "倒" 出....
餘下落黎, 只要輕輕吹幾吹, 完成.........

全個過程唔駛 5 分鐘. 咁就省回 $300 - $1200 .....

p.s. 我現在明白點解支鏡會咁易入塵了.... 原因為個 design 本身就係開放式, 第一片鏡片的外圈咁多孔, 而且張貼紙其實細左少少, 所以空氣可以好 free 咁出入 (我估係因為支鏡要伸縮的原故)

當你 zoom 的時候, 空氣一吸..... d 塵自然入哂去啦.....
